Well i have been looking for some new wheels for a while as im getting a little bored of mine and then being 18x8 is even worse.. Anyway... keep mine or go with these Sportmax 962's 18x8.5 in front and 18x9.5 in back with 2.5 and 3.5" lips and the same color in the chop. So which ones do you guys like better.... current or the sportmax's? Thanks

First one is my current wheels, second is the 962's.

I like the rims you have now, but those Sportmax rims look awesome, esp. with the wider lip. The ones I've seen are pretty cheap too, I say go for those.

Yea i like my current wheels too but i've had them for a while now and am just getting a little bored... plus they have some rash from the previous owner and they are only 18x8 and to widen them wouldn't really be worth all the trouble with their offset to get them to where i would want them. Plus i love the big dish on these!

you want to know what i would do..... get the Sportmax 962's, and get the rears widened to 11.5's out back......

I looked at the 962s - very nice but only 9.5" wide I wanted the big boys out back. Ohwell - I like your current set up but love the 962s.

The offset is 35mm for front and back... think icould widen them to an 11 or 11.5 with that offset without spacers?

Also what color should i go for... they make gunmetal and hyperlight silver i believe... i could go with one of those or pick either and get them powdercoated black or polished to a mirror finish? Anyone have pics of gunmetal colored wheels on black f-bodys?

Pn a black car you have to go high polished I think. I like the black with the polished lip but you can never go wrong with chrome or high polished on a dark car.

i like the staggered look, plus with the stagger i get the big dish i nrear only which i also like. I was thinking i could have these chromed or send to Josh for a full polish. So i'm pretty set on the wheels now.... now post your in put on....

1.) Machined lip... gunmetal spokes
2.) Machined lip... black spokes
3.) Fully polished or chrome

I will offer this: I know you show your car or are starting to - with that in mind you should go all chrome or high polished. I have taken home a 1st place and a top 15 trophy the last 2 weekends. The only change I made was the chrome wheels. They get your car noticed. That being said, your car would look sick with the black spokes and polished lip. You cannot go wrong here. Good luck - I know it is a tough choice - I just went through the same thing
