Default free mods?

since there is a plethera of free mods for our cars its hard to track them all down and find *good* wright ups on them. i am fairly new to the ls1 game and a forum like this would be a great help to me to feed my modding addiction inbetween big things. just an idea.

A forum specifically intended for free mods would be a waste IMO. There are only
a handful and they aren't all that valuable. You'll be lucky to pick up a few tenths
with them. We can't have a forum for every level of racer/LS1 enthusiast. The
free mods have been covered a hundred million times and are only a search away.

My 2 cents.

My 2 cents.

Since when did picking up a few tenths become not such a big deal? I agree you have to be lucky, they are more hit and miss than reg mods which cost $$$, but most guys would love to gain a few tenths for free.

again - thats why Brains has been bustin his *** on getting search up and running. it will give you a wealth of information.

and yes - i think having a free-mod sticky would be a great idea - i personally don't have time to do it. do you know anyone that does? if so - its an idea....

I'd say a few tenths is probably an exaggeration. A few HP is more like it

Free mods do not need their own forum, they have been covered thousands of times, and our search feature is working again.

We will eventually have an FAQ that will also include free mod info.

i like how TGO has their mod page set up. on their front home page, there's various things to chose from, one of them being a mod page, where there's various mods for the third gen in there. i think something like that where the write ups for the whistler mod, etc... should go. reference TGO's homepage for guidence.

for me, it's not always about speed, like the "cool your ***** mod" or the above said whistler mod, polishing things mod, etc...
