ran my buddy in his '03 C5Z06 last night, the only 2 mods he had were nittos and no air filter and 1/4 tank of gas. My mods are '02 C5 coupe stock LS1 heads, mild 226cam, full exhuast & tune and a Full tank of gas. did the full tank of gas for traction purposes at the track since i'm going to be getting a new clutch in 2 weeks, i figured oh what the hell with 4k launches and street tires.
well we go from a 70punch and i dropped it into 3rd, i could have went to second, but i chose 3rd. So i go from 3rd at 70 and he jumps out on me by 1/2 car (my front fender right behind his front tire). Once i get into the meat of my cam, i pull even with him and we are nose to nose. As the rpms go up, he wraps out his 3rd gear before i do and has to shift. im still in 3rd about 300-400rpms before shiftpoint, and as he shifts into 4th, the c5z06's nose drops back to my front tire and then (im still pulling in 3rd) to my rear tire. And a moment later, i go to 4th and then put a solid 1 car on z06 in the beginning of 4th and still pulling away before we both shut down due to traffic.

Good runs. What were both of you guys' 60' time? The trap speed and ET makes me believe you guys didn't cut very good 60' time.
