Default IL emmissions

Anyone know of an emmissions place in the chicagoland area that will not do a visual inspection?

I know for a fact the one off of North Aurora road just West of 59 by the tracks plugs into your computer and doesn't bother to look at anything. Some 18-19 year old girl did the inspection n mine. I'm sure they just showed her where to plug in the diagnostic tool.

ILEPA proceedures do NOT include any visual inspection for '96+ OBDII cars. None of the facilities will look at anything other than your gas cap and your OBD port....

So even if I am running LT's and no cats, as long as there are no codes I am okay? I know that all of the monitors have to be set as well which isn't goning to be a problem, I am only worried about the fact that when I pull it in that someone will be able to tell that I don't have a cat just from the exhaust smell.

That's exactly how it was for my WS6. Passed no problem.

Yea, you'll be fine as long as you don't throw a code. The whole process takes like 5 minutes at the most
