Angry Help with Gauges!

i was tryin to put tape behign the brake* light on my gauge cluster bc it is on due to me takin out my abs. So when i was pulling back the gauge overlay all the nedels poped off. now what do i do? hwo do i no they are goin to be accurate again? thanks for the help

The guys who have replaced theie overlays would probably know best, but I think you're supposed to mark them first.

Since the gauges go to "zero" without power, you can try to install the pointers at their min location. I wouldn't get to freaked out considering the stock gauges aren't very accurate from the factory. You might just luck out and get closer than GM did.

If you're inclined, you can always try to reconcile the gauge values with a scan tool.
