Default One last issue

ok, everythings buttoned up and ive turned the key but....nothing. i went and checked the plug wires and coil packs, everything is connected but nothing. theres no horrible clangng sounds or anything so wtf?

ahh, damnit, i think the timing chain is off a tooth. i got a really loud backfire through tthe exhaust. :sigh: damnit idont wanna take it all apart to find its fine. i cranked it over with the coilds unplugged and theres nothing harsh coming from under the covers. ill probably pull em just to make sure.

yup. its not labored or anything. i had one loud fire but i think it was jus unspent fuel going off from the oil system prime

Hold down the pedal while cranking it and that should have the computer clear the flood. Better yet, unplug the fuel pump fuse and crank it.

Is the temperature sensor on the driver side head near cylinder 1 connected? I heard if that is off the car won't start.

EDIT:Ooops, I see you said it cranks. I guess my wild guess is wrong. Sorry.

i have 1 1/4 turns worth of preload. i doubt that that is the issue. maybe the timimng set is out of wack? i really dont know and no one here seems to knw either...damnit.
EDIT: i dont mean to bad mouth anyone here im just really frustrated
