One last issue ok, everythings buttoned up and ive turned the key but....nothing. 
i went and checked the plug wires and coil packs, everything is connected but nothing. theres no horrible clangng sounds or anything so wtf?

ahh, damnit, i think the timing chain is off a tooth. i got a really loud backfire through tthe exhaust. :sigh: damnit idont wanna take it all apart to find its fine. i cranked it over with the coilds unplugged and theres nothing harsh coming from under the covers. ill probably pull em just to make sure.

i have 1 1/4 turns worth of preload. i doubt that that is the issue. maybe the timimng set is out of wack? i really dont know and no one here seems to knw either...damnit.
