Loudmouth question

The LM1 system has the resonator which is nothing but a 4" hollow pipe. It supposedly mellows it out some and on an LS1 car with the cats still in place, it sounds SWEET! On an LT1 car with no cats it sounds like CRAP. Trust me, Ive got both.
The LMII has the same 4" pipe, but it has some baffling material in it. I havent used one of those yet, but Im going to! Thats the first thing Im gonna try to quiet this LT1 down!

I Love my LM1, and LT1's sound better than LS1's, because they have a deeper, harder tone because the motor weighs 100 pounds more, and the firing order is different.

I personally had the loudmouth + !cat, stock manifolds on my 94 z28. Way too loud, I was forced to buy the dynotech bullet muffler to help a little. In the end it still sounded like ****.

Does anyone really expect essentially open pipe all the way to the back to sound anything but in your face loud? LM1 Sounds great IMO. At any rate, I doubt that removing the Resonator would do a whole lot. Like they said, just a bellow. I just really enjoy it for the random ricer pipe that gets thrown. Makes them spill their pimpjuice.

I was going off a recommendation from some cz28 members a long time ago.
