Hopefully it has a decently designed burnout box unlike the 1/8 mi. track, who came up with the design for that thing?

Constructive criticism is all, wasn't meant to offend. If LSR listens to the people using the facility it's the ramp thats awkward, not the waterbox. The serious drag-cars seem to ignore the ramp and drive up level ground & John Force style burnt-out past the tree, just takes more time based on the design.

the 1/4 mile pavement is there and completed. here is what we have left to do:

1. upgrade timing equipment - happens next week.
2. complete paving new return roads and re-pave old return roads - as soon as it dries up.
3. add more guard rail (concrete walls)
4. add lights
5. widen burnout box

we feel that july 21 is very realistic. if for some reason we get delayed for some reason then we will let everyone know in advance. hope to see you at the track,

john

i just made the first 1/4 mile pass down the track in the Duramax shop truck. it was a lot of fun!

we were also able to get some aerial pics today. i will try to post them later on. the property really looks great from the air.
