Default How much ET/MPH would you lose?

By going from 16x8 wheels with 245/50r16s to 17s with 275/40r17s?

Anyone ever document this at the track?

I would have to assume you would be faster due to more traction. Though I have never documented this. Just a thought.

Doubt it would be faster cause the wheels and tires are heavier.

Depends on what setup you are going with. The 17X9.5 fikse FM5s are lighter than the 16X8 camaro wheels.
