Default What backspacing for a 12" wheel?

My friend is gonna get his car minitubbed and narrow the rear about 3" per side what backspacing would be required on a 15x12 wheel?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

on my car i have narrowed the rear 5 1/2 " per side and i run the 15*12 with a 4" bs. it leaves about 1" clearance between the 28*10.5*15W slick and the billingsley offset lower control arms.

I'll see if Madman has finished narrowing the rear for my buddy. He will be running a 15x12 with 4" b.s.

Thats what Im wondering? Im running a 315 60 15 Mickey drag radial, 3" narrowed per side and 5 1/2" back space. The tire is 1/4-3/8" from the offset control arm and 3/8-1/2" from the outside of the wheel well. How could a 12" rim fit? What tire are you running?

yes the lca was kept in the stock location. the rear has been narrowed 5 1/2 inches per side. and i run the billingsley off set lower control arms. they clear the tires with about 1/4 inch to spare with the 28*10.5*15 W ET drags. the 15*12 with the 4 "bs
