F1C/F1R Procharger Guys...
What size pulley are you guys running on built 408s? I have a 3.85" pulley and a 4.25" pulley sitting here to match up to my 7.65" crank pulley. I am wondering what kind of power you guys are seeing with different pulley setups? Also boost numbers as well.
I will have a built 408 9.0:1 compression with ET240cc heads and 1 7/8" headers mounted up. I am just trying to gauge which pulley I should use. I iintend to spin the motor to 6500-6800RPMs. I also upgraded to a much larger intercooler. And for reference I will be running an F1C head unit.
Thanks for the help.
PS: Stock 346 bottom end with stock heads and a blower cam on the F1C is insane only pulling to 5k RPMs making 12-13psi depending on the day. Its just on a really rich tune. I only swapped the blower on to test fitment and found a buyer for my D1SC so I still have this thing on and driving around town with this thing is insane! I can only imagine what it will feel like with the new bottom end and heads along with 6500RPMs... w00t! I am stoked!

Also... I currently have an LS6 Intake Manifold, but was wondering if I should upgrade to a FAST 90 IM with a NW ported TB to match? Would I see any gains from that or should I just skip that and get a Victor Jr? If you suggest the Victor Jr, please let me know where I can pick up all the necessary parts to make it work.
Thanks again

I think Speed Inc busted a FAST 90 under boost.
Don't know if a Victor will clear the hood of a GTO.
Is this a custom bracket? Where did you get it? Also, what are the specs for an F1C? F1 is like 1500cfm, F1R is like 2000. Is the C in the middle?

Mick, the ATI crank pulley for the GTO is only 7", not 7.65". Just FYI.
Ron (b727pic) verified it and is looking for a larger one to be made.

One alternative solution would be to machine a 2.24" spacer on a lathe and use the LS1 F-body 8 rib 7.65" race pulley with the spacer. Many shops could handle this.
An aftermarket balancer on the GTO would be a must with this setup.
Depth of GTO fluidampr pulley overall 3.45"
Depth of LS1-Fbody pulley including rear recess 1.21"
Do not machine parts without verifying actual measurements first with parts in hand. This is a quickie with a dubious set of calipers.
ATI LS1-Fbody race crank pulley part number DC017A-008 retail $157

Hey Mick go with the Vic Jr. cuz Ive done a good amount of search on it and like it a lot for boost. As for the intake elbow that fits the Vic Jr, call Nitrous Dave. They have a low profile elbow that will clear our hoods.
