Default Toshiba HIR Bulb

Thinking of giving these bulbs a try to improve the headlights. Seems fairly inexpensive and simple as compared to some of the alternative solutions.

Who's tried them and what's your opinion? Would you recommend this mod to others?

Any tips or tricks that did or would help w/ install?

Did you replace high, low or both and with which bulbs (9011/9012) did you use ?

I have the 9011 bulbs that came stock in my Avalanche. They definitely put out more light than the standard high beams. I had actually replaced the 9011's with some aftermarket 100W hi's but didn't like them; they scattered too much light all over the place.

Are you going to see a huge difference? No, but I think they would be worth the money spent.

Try the Sylvania Silver Star's and adjust you lights. HUGE differance. I also run the SS fog lights and have adjusted them too.
