Default SLP Linelock Kit Installed

Just got home from installing the linelock kit with a friends help, everything went on without any problems. It was weird though when I tried to do a burnout, both of the tires would not spin all of the time. My friend pointed this out to me, and I think it is because the rear is not a 100% posi rear, it is all stock. Is that correct to say that? We also only blead the front brakes. When I looked earlier thats all that I saw to do. Someone told me that you HAD to bleed all 4 brakes. Is this true, or was bleeding only the front 2 an ok thing to do?

If you've got a 1-tire-fire, your posi unit is probably on it's way out the door.

I have never heard that before. I call it a 1-wheel-peel. That is not good to hear about the posi . How much is it to replace that unit?

You can buy an entire used 10-bolt on here for about $300 lol. Is your car a 6-speed or auto? What gear does it have if it's an auto?

BTW - I used to have a friend in high school named Eric Neil who drove this little toyota (the 'yota) and did the most outrageous burnouts ever. We called it....

"The real-deal-1-wheel-neil-peel"

One day during a burnout, the rod closest to the rear of the motor on the 4-banger broke in half, knocked a hole in the side of the block so big, going SO FAST, that it BROKE the starter clean off on its way out.

My car is a 6 speed with stock gears. Is it worth it to buy a used rear or just upgrade to a 12 bolt or something equivelent? The real-deal-1-wheel-neil-peel That is teh best one ever. the started got knocked off due to the rod flying out of teh block.

A new 12 bolt rear with all the trimmings is about 2 grand if you install it yourself

well on ls1gto. they said that when you have sticky tires and you do a burn out it is very common for only one wheel to spin. i know that they have completly diff. rears i was just bringing it up that it could be other things. i would go over everything! agian just to make sure and go check for air in your brakes whats it going to hurt? like 45 mins

just pull in a dirt driveway and blip the throttle. if you leave 2 marks you're fine. i did it in mine. 2 marks 2 feet long. then i covered them up with stones. no harm done.

I thought that with the stock Torsen that if one wheel lost traction (spinning freely) all the power went to that wheel? I know that happened to me the last time we had a 1/8" of snow.
