Default Oil pumps

I am planning on doing a cam and springs on my LS1, at the same time I am looking to change my timing chain and my oil pump. I will be using the stock oil pan, what should I replace my stock pump with? I think that my stock pump is an LS6 pump not exactly sure. I figure with the car having 72,000 miles it might not be a bad idea to do it.

Just replace it with another LS6 pump or like the SLP ported oil pump. No need for anything to fancy unless you want to go to a dry sump system. $$$$$$

Ive learned from others not to get SLP With your mods a factory ls6 will do fine. If you want a ported one, price it out through the other sponsors.
