Later this summer I am thinking about geting a cam, heads ported, and a good tune. Does anyone know of any performance shops around virginia beach that do good maching work, also thinking about boring the cylinders.

I haven't heard of any. Fbody Central is in Balitimore and they are really good. I don't know if that is too far for you but they have a rep for building fast f bodies.
