If I block of my AIR will it just throw a code?
I doing a header install shortly, and i was just going to make some block off plates for the air system. so will it thow a code and could it mess up my smog pump in case i want to use it again?

Yes, it will indeed eventually throw some codes - but none of which will affect performance. Get somebody with LS1-Edit to delete them for you.

yes, however, u want to edit them out the proper way. also do a search on ls1.com to find out exactly how. also be aware that you WILL fail an emissions visual check. it's something to think about

i doubt they would fail an emissions visual check, like some inspection dude is going to know to check for a.i.r.
but then again i guess he might see the blockoff plate and wonder why that is there.. but i doubt he would fail you for it. he might ask you a question, and you could make up some BS answer..
just like if you have 5% tint, roll down your windows, and pull the fuse so they cant roll them up to check. nothing in code says your windows have to work <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
