Well I have a habit of holding in the clutch when i slow down to stop. I was just wondering if that's bad to do after a pass cuz the engine would go from 5.5kto 1k.

nah, the drop in rpm wont hurt the engine. i personally use the rpms though, because the turnout at my local track is really close and if i dont downshift while threshold braking i have to drive out to BFE to turn around. Its quite the pain in the ***.

haha I don't stop. I have warped the stock rotors, autozone rotors and now have Eradispeed's with hawk pads and it still sucks slowing it down. I normally push the clutch in but am gonna try leaving it in gear for the added braking.
Many people road race here and they don't seem to have problems using the engine for braking.
