Question LS1 tuning fuel system vortech

hey i have a 98 ls1 trans am. i just installed a vortech supercharger 9-10 boost aftercooled with boost pump 255gpm? and 42 pound injectors but i dont have a chip for it. trying to save $500 at the dyno. can i put a fmu on it the corky bell 20/27 or any for that and temp install a wideband air/fuel guage and just adjust the fmu to tune it? will my computer work with this and would that wash out my cylinders? im thinking my computer would no be able to adjust for this? my friend in racing gave me this idea and he said he has with no problem on a ls1 turbo. he said he could help. any help with this one?

Default

do not do a fmu.

You need to get a tune, you need to set your injector flow rate #1 and then they have to set your timing and air/fuel.

It is expensive for a tune but there maybe someone who can help you out for a little less. Tuning is not something you want to cheap out on..
