ehhh just a random question.. im looking at ls1 fbodies / vettes and im wondering if anyone daily drives their vette... even in the winter.. just a question... looking around and seeing what i can get with deals.. also where im from (chicago) we get some nasty winters.. sometimes.. haha

I used to live in the burbs around chicago. I think daily driving the vette wouldn't be to bad, because even though we sometimes get pretty bad snow, its plowed in hours. Im kinda out in the country now, as i live near rockford, and out hear i dont think its possible because they plow when they feel like it. I have had to drive home before guessing where the road was almost the entire way.

Yep, I drive mine every single day even in the snow! I've got Pirelli P Zero Nero all season tires on it and they work great! The only time I don't drive it is if we get a big snow storm where the roads aren't plowed properly. Otherwise it'll handle up to 4 inches of snow pretty well.

Got mine in March with 56,103. Now has 62,347. That's 6244 miles since the first of March. I love my vette.

im north west of chitown and i daily drive mine in the summer, its got 104k on her right now and been daily driven for the last 5 years.
