Need honest opinions - Does my car look dirty in this pic? I posted this picture on the corvette forum for a thread about me just swapping in new chromed OEM Z06 wheels (They weigh only 19lbs front and 21lbs rear, verified on 2 scales.) And Anyhow, 1 guy who's been a member since 1999 said "PLEASE wash that car!!!"
Now I have always taken good care of my cars and have a pretty good eye and a good camera too and I don't see what he is talking about but maybe I am blind?? FYI- the car hasnt been washed in a few days and had some rain get on it, but it is zaino'd so it looks clean unless really dirty anyway. To me the car looks plenty clean in this pic, but whats your take?

Thanks guys, I know it seems silly and petty but when someone says that it takes you back and you are like, maybe I have the old momma's eyes where she thinks her kid's are beautiful no matter what. That or maybe I was losing my eyesight in my old age, lol. If anyone thinks it doesnt look that clean honestly, please let me know....I'm gonna spend hours on it with 10 coats of some Z-5 or something, lol

pull the rims and wash them inside out, thats what hes talking about, i pull mine once a month for a cleaning. its dark inside there and you cant see the finish from all the brake dust in there, the car looks great but if you wanna impress that guy thats what u need to do. corvette rims especially z06's are hard enough to clean in the 1st place, i cant stand mine but yea just pull emm and clean emm. youll be good to go from there.

Assassin, yeah I had just got back from the place that put the wheels on....3 boxes where in my girlfriends TA and one in my Z (Thats all I could fit of course). yeah I suppose I should have taken it out before taking the pictures, lol.
