Default Pic of a 100mm maf I'm trying with the Incons turbos.

It will not help read more air or extend the 512g/s hard limit in the computer.....sooooooo why try it?

I've pushed the GT2871R's so hard I'm guessing the IC inlet temp is 300F since the outlet temp hits 160ish at the end of the 1/4 mile. This maf is so big it will let me turn the boost down 1-2psi and still have 16psi in the manifold. (stock screened maf has a 1-2psi pressure drop through it at these flow levels)....hopefully, it will reduce the IAT's since the comp curve will move up a little in the efficiency island.

Interesting. At the 850rwhp level I've replaced the maf with straight pipe (speed density), and picked up zero horsepower.

Where did you get the 100 mm MAF? Is that factory on the new LS7?

Cause your turbo(s) are much more efficient. Boost controller probably maintained your boost.

Isn't Harlan working with a larger MAF on his truck or one of the Stenod cars?

I cant see where that will help much Tom but what do I know, unless you have 4" pipe up to that point and a 100mm TB whats the difference really. Taking the screen out of the stock MAF would net the same results I would bet.

I would concentrate on getting the coolest and less restricted air to the inlets of those little turbos. If you are picking up hot air its going to stay hot..

Yep, just make sure it's never been exposed to any K/N oil based filters if it's a used one. They get really twitchy when oiled up and collecting junk on the wires.

Translator Pro on my truck, no MAF

That piece looks like an LPE unit. big pipe, and what's becoming the industry standard stalk insert element.

Just out of curiousity, where did you get the MAF "Stalk element" from?

And thanks for posting this, I've been wondering about adapting an LS7 style MAF element into a pipe like that since somebody posted a question about it in the PCM forum.
