Default How much power from Hooker Catback

I am ordering a hooker catback or a MAgnaflow catback. Which one is better? Will they out perform my flowmaster muffler? What kind of power increase can I expect? Will a y-pipe help without headers?

try a search.
Hooker and magnaflow are prob the same hp wise. people buy them for the look/ sound they give.
They will perform better than the flow, and are better quality.
a y will prob give you another 5 or so at the wheels.

Those are good catbacks for not running cats <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

I would go with the hooker because is is easy to remove the muffler at the track. Just three bolts and it drops out. Nice price too.

Actually, you're only going to see about 10 rwhp from the Hooker catback. JSears is right. It's easy to drop off at the track. It sounds great and it's inexpensive too. Can't beat it.
