Default Need Help Fast! Header Y Pipe Question

i have my car in the shop right now and im getting a pair of pacesetters put in and a qtp catted y pipe. i just got a call from the shop telling me how there is nowhere for the o2 sensors to go on the y pipe and how for the car to function properly they need to be in both the header and ypipe. is this true, and how was this y pipe used b4 me if there isnt anywhere for the 02 sensors to go?

wrong, only two needed the front ones. Just get it tuned and you'll be fine. Don't pay for them to add bungs to your y pipe.

You dont need the rear O2's they are only there to tell ya if the cats are working properly. Get the rear O2 codes deleted with tuning software.

rear O2's are just emissions tattletales. as posted above, tune them out. find someone with LS1edit or HPtuners. should cost you ~$75.
