Default TH400 and 8.8" rear, what TA?

Alright, I've recently traded for a TH400. I'm wondering what torque arm will work with it and my rear end? My stock torque arm is currently on the car, as well as a stock t-56 driveshaft, if that helps any. I just need to know what torque arm will fit when I put the TH400 in, and will it fit the rear I have? I've called BMR, but their tech guys won't be back til Wednesday, go figure, just my luck.

Thanks guys.

im pretty sure the stock on doesnt work get a shoon that mounts to the rear instead of the tranny. as for your driveshaft. it depends what tail shaft you have on your th-400 4" 6" or 9" if its 9" i here it will work with the rear end...dont take my word for it just my 2 cents after studying this **** for days!

Most Body Mounts will work fine. There is more concern with Header and Y-pipe clearance with a TA then the trans.

I also have an 8.8 and went with the UMI TA. It'a nice piece.

Ok, another problem....I'm already getting a BMR crossmember with the tranny, so I don't need an aftermarket crossmember/TA. I just need the TA with a loop preferably. Is there a best option for just that with my rear/tranny setup? Should I sell the x member that comes with the tranny and just buy another one? Or should I buy a TA with the x member I have?

If you have the BMR crossmember with the tq qrm relocation built onto its, then you can use any stock style tq arm, as long as the rear mounting will work with your rear. As for the driveshaft loop, any aftermarket one should work ( bmr, slp, whatever ) because that mounts where the Gload brace is, back from the tranny crossmember.

I dont' know if the driveshaft lenth changed when you put the 8.8 rear in, but with a 12 bolt you need a 44.5 inch driveshaft with the th400. Again, unless the 8.8 changes something.
