WTB: 4L60E for 1999 Z-28 Need a good one! Hello,
I thought I had found a great tranny but GM stiffed the owner when it was rebuilt and it was toast upon inspection here. It was a sad day for both of us.... buyer and seller. So I need another, have a great core but shipping is very expensive so I would prefure a one way trip coming this direction. I live in Washington State. Tell me what you have.

I have a Century built Race Prepped unit that has been behind a 400 rwhp car for 2 years and has about 6,000 miles on it. It has honestly only been to the track 2 times and driven very easy for the 6000 miles. The trans build from Century was 2500.00 without a core. The trans has always been run with a big b&m cooler and a Yank Thruster Pro 4400 converter on regular goodyear eagle street tires. The complete setup was ~ 3700.00
The trans and converter are in the car now and I will gladly let anyone ride/drive the car to feel just how awesome the trans feels. Im in Orlando if you know anyone that could test ride in the car for you. I want 2000.00 shipped for everything (Trans, Converter & tranny cooler)
If you dont need/want everything make me an offer for what you need/want.

Your tranny sounds great for a race set up but I am only looking for something to get this 1999 Z28 convertible down the road to its next owner as plans have changed. Any thoughts?
