Collapsed Lifters?

Collapsed Lifters? Is this common within ls1's? I had a pretty nicely bent pushrod..which i replaced. I realized i had one bent due to the ticking. Well after about 3 weeks of replacing it..and the ticking being completely gone..im starting to hear a slight tick again. I have not taken the car into higher RPMS then maybe 4 grand. Could the pushrod being bent possibly caused a lifter to collapse?

If you are running an aggressive cam and/or high spring pressures, the stock lifters won't hold up.
