The only problem I had with the stock cable was the plastic clip at the end of the cable on the TB end would pop out of the metal bracket. A zip tie cured that problem for me. Other than that the stocker should be good enough for a stock style intake and TB set-up.

I would check with a street rod shop - usually they carry Lokar cable assemblies which (I think) you can modify to work for your application.

I'm using the lokar on my setup as well, although i've got a 4150 flange accel throttle body. Take out the stock throttle cable junk and traction control box if you don't need it, it's gotta bee near 20 pounds of weight, ha, and a whole lot less clutter.

For pics!

Made some washers to use the factory throttle cable hole and ran the cable inside of the cowling by drilling a hole with a 1 1/8" hole saw. With a regular throttle body though you won't need to modify the cowl like I did.

I mean you can leave it in if you want, but mine allowd me to take it out. Like I said, the loss of clutter is worth it ten times over!!!

That looks like a Super Victor intended for a Gen1 SBC, not to mention that sits higher than other Victor Jr's I have seen.

Looks like there are adapter plates at the intake mating face, or am I seeing things? Either way slick set-up.

Sb2.2 intake which is my understanding was modified by or at pat musi's shop. The adapter plate makes it taller as well as the addition of what seems to be a spacer welded onto the intake.

I can take a guess. There is about 4 different combinations of scribing the numbers on the base plate and runner so it looks like they've tried many many ways to make it work the best. I tried every which way switching the base till I thought it was best and think i've got it. I'm very impressed with the way everything lines up all the way from the intake valve to the throttle body!

I can tell you... there's probably more hours in that intake then you work in a month.
