Well....when I bought my '99 in 2004 the original owner installed the SLP Y-Pipe to the stock manifolds, then to a Borla catback. Its a good fit with no loss of ground clearance (unlike their headers). I am not aware of any HP gain, however. I do believe Borla makes a y-pipe for stock manifolds as well.

Can I ask Why you are Wanting to get a ORY.. When you still have stock Manifolds??? Seems LIke Wasted Money. when you Upgrade to headers No Hp Gains.. Just Under the Car looks.
