Default Stock rocker question

Did a search and it only confused me more... I am finally starting to pull my engine apart for a rebuild and wonder what people here think I should do. The rockers are in a box and I will send them out to be rebuilt if I really should (for piece of mind). But $250ish seem kinda steep for something I may not need. Only thing going inside the engine that won't be stockish will be a cheaTR cam. Thanks in advance . BTW, new springs too.

How many miles on them? If it's high I would do it....just for insurance.

For what its worth, my car with 55k miles blew a rocker causing it to spew its needle bearings into my engine.

Id pay the $250 again in order to have strong / light rockers.

What I should have asked is if anybody has had their engine damaged or destroyed from the needle bearings. Or is it just a pain to have to fish out the needle bearings and replace the failed rocker arm?

So, I'm assuming that stock rockers on with a cheatr cam is ok, as long as the miles are low on the car, Right?
