I have a Jegs radiator , 27 1/2 x 16 1/2 . Has been working great so far this summer . Temps haven't been above 195 on a 99 degree day in traffic . Running 1-12" and 1-10" puller fans

I ran the griffin dual 1 1/4" core with a Stewart stage 1 water pump on my '86 Camaro with a built 383. I ran hot in the summer untill I removed the stock dual fans and installed dual Spal 11" high performance fans. man, what a difference. It always ran cool after that. I highly recommend Spal fans even before you swap radiators if you are running hot.

Yep, picked up the Griffin with auto trans cooler from LS1 Speed last year. I run the stock fan and shroud setup. Car runs fine in stop and go traffic cruising to work with a 50/50 mix of city and highway driving on a summer day. The temps have been staying under 200 degrees on a high 80s sunny day at a dead stop on the freeway in a construction zone. So it's getting the job done.

I am refering to the one everyone uses when they stand the radiator (white cutting the core support usually), I didnt even think about griffin making a stock size replacement.
If you are refering to the smaller version for standing it up......Did you have to cut up the stock fan shroud alot to make it work? I looked into doing that but it seems I would have to cut every peice of shrouding away and be left with just the fans to make it fit on the face of my radiator..which runs 22.5wide by 15 inches tall I believe. fans
I run the griffin, its I think the same size everywhere except thicker. I run the fans from sd-concepts and they work well except I have no ac. With these fans on the highway its between 170 and 180 or so and in town 190 to 200. They are spal fans.
