Default air pump fuse blowen after header install

I noticed now that my air pump fuse under the hood is blown and is melted. i cleaned it all out and put a new fuse and it still blows. Now would this have been related to getting my headers put on? Could the shop that put the headers on screwed something up? And now where do i check for spots that may be causing the short?

thanks

Begin with wiring and go from there. Some shops are hap-hazardous because for one it is not their car, and can easily blame stuff like that on your inability to take care of the car. You should pull the smog stuff anyway. That would be the easy way to fix the problem.

I pulled mine 4 years ago. Yeah it is fine. It only comes on for 30 seconds or so right at startup. You'll be OKAY.
