i had an extra one so i was like hmm ill try it. It's not done yet i still have some fine sanding to do and some polishing to do

i used two grits, i can remember the two....but the fine one really made it shiny, just make sure you dont grind the area where the throttle closes

That looks awesome!

I'd hit it with some 300 then 600 grit sandpaper. If you've got a buffing wheel and some compound, it would help too.

yeah i know no to go back to far. I am getting 300 then 600 hell i might even do 800 too

I used 1500 on mine.

I had some left over from my headlight polish job lol. Had to get it from a body shop.

well just hit it will 400 im done lol i have a hour on this and its good enuff! lol some of my sand paper is missing and im not buying more lol. all i got to do i clean it up and put it on car


lol i will have my stock one 4sale soon if some else wants to do this

shoulda bump stop mod that sucker too
and maybe do the half shaft mod

Ditto! I did mine this last week, without bumpstop or half shafting it....drove it a little while, and then tore into it and did those two mods...I noticed a bit of a difference SOTP doing them. It was likely the bump sop mod that made the difference, but every little bit helps! It only takes a few minutes to do them!
