Truck coils need longer plug wires?
I swapped from the '98 style heads and coils to the newer centerbolt stuff and I bought some coils off someone on here who told me they were off of a brand new LS6 crate engine. Well, they appear to be truck coils and my stock wires don't fit, so I bought a set of Taylor Spiro Pro's off someone here who used them on an '01, and they are too short. I figured that all of the cars that used coil brackets used the same plug wires, but apparently that is incorrect. The trucks must use longer wires.
I just want to verify which wires I need to buy. What vehicle should I go into a parts store saying I have to get the right wires?

Hmm, I have the small ones, I believe from what I've read they are the Mitsu/Melco ones.
Wasn't sure if the trucks with 5.3s or 4.8s used the same wires as the 6.0, etc. Just wasn't sure which motor to say I had. Maybe I'll look into LS2 wires. The wires don't need to be much longer than my stock ones, maybe another inch or so would do it.

I like the 90* boots, the only one that touches is the one you can see. It touches on the part designed for you to grab, so there's plenty of meat between the contact spot and the wire.
They are easy to install/remove and click on very well to both ends. Plus I got them for $20.50 from ebay brand-spankin-new.
