Default Crane cams gold race series rocker arms?

I was just wondering if anyone here is running the gold race series rockers. Since they were just outlawed from the grand prix series because they seen a 14 hp increase and they made the gto's too fast. I was going to go with the jesel rockers but they are so expenisive i was wondering if these were as good or better than jesels i am very interested in thes rocker arms. I will be running hydrulic roller and will be twin turbo for some backround info thanx.

I had a set on my 464 in my 67, they worked like a champ, just had to grind some because I was running such large valve springs, the rocker kept hitting the retainer. I also ran them on an LT1, seemed to work like a champ, although I can't give you a before/after dyno...=(

I have run the 1.8's and am currently running the 1.7's. I love them. They are quiet and the wipe pattern is minimal on the valve stem. You will need to change valve springs as well, 918's will work with them if you don't want to change to duals. If you go to duals, get the Crane 833's.

PS: Just a little unabashed solicitation, I have a 1.8 kit for sale if you are interested PM me. Both a friend and I bought the kits, I installed mine he is going supercharged and will not be using his. It is his kit that is for sale, any how if interested shoot me a PM. Kit includes rockers, adjusting nuts, jam nuts, guide plates, studs and shorter hardened push rods.

i thought that the stock ratio was 1.6

i saw an ad saying the stock rockers were changed to crane gold rocker race series and gained 15rwhp even though they were the SAME RATIO

Read up on the rockers as well, even though they are the same ratio when fully open, their opening characteristics are much different.
