Default found a 98' Trans Am for $9800

This seems to be the best deal yet...

The car basically looks new and very well taken care of. Its got aftermarket rims with new tires, the car has about 54k miles on it and it is an A4 based tranny.

There's not much I can dock him down further, I mean the car is basically new. Its pretty much stock aside from an aftermarket intake and an exhaust cutout.

I have been meaning to find an M6 LS1 car, but honestly I think the difference between the autos and the manuals are minimal if at all there.

What do you guys think?

I think its a good deal. Depending on the price of F-bodys in ur area of course. I picked up mine for 10k and 62k on the clock. Just remeber if you really want a M6 you might regret geting an A4 later down the road. Just something to think about, they both have there advantages...

I boughtmy Formula w/ 85,000 miles for $6800 tax, tag, & title.......Owned by 1 owner which was a woman in her mid 30's....found it on auto trader.com I could of got an auto 2000 TA w/ 59,000 miles, but it had 4 different owners & also it had a minor accident in its history....The owner wanted 10,500 for it. Which made this decision a no brainer

People can post about the great deals they got all day but that really doesnt have anything to do with you getting the car.

If you like it, you really want it, and you're comfortable paying the price for it, then you should get it. If you have any doubts, and you think you might want the M6 more, dont buy it, keep looking.

Dont buy a car now and then kick your own *** 6 months down the road because you realize you don't really want it.

UPDATE:

Well, I went in for a closer look at the car, the owner has dropped the price to 9500 in the now.

The car will be needing new tires which is gonna put me down about 500 dollars. One of them was a flat tire but he got it patched up.

I have yet to schedule a test drive yet though.

My only gripe with the car is the fact that its an A4, typically, I don't think it matters at this point. The A4s have come close enough to the M6s, I just think manuals are overall more fun to drive...

EDIT: I think I am just gonna go ahead and wait until I get I find an M6 Trans Am/Z28...as much as I hate to see this one go, I am gonna go ahead and pass up on it...
