Default what would the 1/4 mile be??

i was wondering what a 3.65 @ 205 in the 1/8 would be on a 1/4 mile track. Just wanting to know just how fast the car is compared to the pros.

Well, if 205 was the top speed, that would be equal to 1640 eighths per hour. There are 3600 seconds in an hour, so at 205 MPH you are travelling one eighth mile every 2.195 seconds. Add 2.2. to the 3.6 and you have a quarter mile of 5.85.

Since the car isn't set up for quarter mile this is assuming that it's top speed is around 205 MPH and it can maintain that speed for the rest of the quarter.

That would only be a mid 5 pass in a 1/4 mile. That's not all that impressive (comparatively speaking of course) for a Nitro Funny car as the top teams are hitting 260+ MPH by the 660' mark on their way to 320+ MPH 1320' passes and doing it in under 5 seconds.

Most correction factors have somewhere in the mid to upper 5's. I agree if this is a nitro funny car, he's got a ways to go to catch up with common times.
