Wheels & Tires - Z06 wheel owners, help me out please...

My friend has a 95 Camaro, a V6, and she wants to get some Z06 wheels. She wants just the basic chrome version...no rivets or anything.

So here are the questions:

1. She wants 18's all the way around...does anyone have a package including tires, if so....who, and what actual size are they? 18 x 9.5"? And what offset are they, and are there any problems with the front rubbing?

2. Is it a better idea to get a 17 front, 18 rear combination?

3. What's the best combination to get? Which causes the least problems with rubbing issues?

I'd love some imput, like I said, it's not for my car, I am sticking with what I have, she just wants to dress up her car a bit and she needs new tires anyways, so might as well ditch the salad shooters and get some nicer wheels. Oh yeah, she wants to lower the car later on too.

Thanks in advance!

check out www.tomzwheels.com or search "tomzwheels" on here. he has some good deals with tires. 18s will not rub.

if you want 17/18 it is only personal preference, but then you cannot rotate wheels front to back, so keep that in mind

Cool...so if she was to go with 18 x 9.5's...the proper tire size would be 275/40/18?

I'm running 18x9.5's all the way around and I'm sitting on some 275/35/18s.

Ah...yes...275/35/18s instead...cool...no rubbing issues?

So what offset are they supposed to have? I saw some wheels on Ebay that have a +57mm offset, which I presume should fit since the stock SS wheels are +56mm if I am not mistaken, but I also saw the ones on tomzwheels that are +65mm? That seems a bit off, maybe it's a typo and it's supposed to be +56?

Basically, what I am asking, will the combo of 18 x 9.5 with 275/35/18 tires on a +57mm offset fit on a Camaro without rubbing in the front?

I run BFG KDW2's P275/35/18 and no rubbing issues at all. My wheels are +50mm offset.

I also run a KDW2s 275/35/18s with a 56mm offset not a single issue here.
