shift kit?
#2
Pros= installing it yourself and taking it back out to make changes to get it perfect FOR YOUR SPECIFIC APPLICATION.
cons= Having a shop do it and guess at the seperator plate hole sizes and get them wrong and not taking it back apart to correct it.
Are they worth installing. Yes if done properly. Obviously no if not done properly.
My personal experience is that you can do it yourself and get it right, you can have a shop get it right. But if it's not right the first time it needs to come apart and have changes done. My opinion is that a shift kit has many factors that effect the way it performs and they are not the same for every vehicle. If you take the time to do it and it doesn't work perfect redo it until it is perfect you will be happy with it.
Slap it in there and expect to be fine is a 50/50 chance.
