Default Who powdercoats/ paints wheels??

I have a set of TT2's on my 71 LSX vega and im wondering if i can get the center painted/powdercoated the same color as the car, Carousel red(close to hugger orange). im not sure if i want to paint just the center where it meets the outter part of the wheel or paint that and the center cap. kinda like the 70-71-72ish camaros that came with torque thrust D style rims. if anyone knows of good shops that can do a good job on them let me know! and about how much they'd charge?

I had a shop here in Texas that coated my TT2s. They were local to me so it made it a lot easier. The only thing I can really suggest is to look up in the phone book and go from there. Call around to different shops and ask them about their prosses for coating. Cheaper isn't always better, I paid a little more to have mine done than what other shops charged but I went with the shop that was doing the work and did all the prep to make sure the coating wouldn't chip off. I've had it done for over a year now and they still look like the day I picked them up

i e-mailed a place that sold rims and powdercoated them, and said they cant do American Racing rims because they bubble when they heat them up because of the "gasses" that come out of them or something. is it true for AR rims to be like that?

That sounds like BS to me, mine aren't bubbled and Joe never said anything about it. Joe is on here too under Joeformula. He has black powdercoated TT2s and works for top koat where mine were powdercoated. email them and see what they say, maybe they will be willing to ship too
