The show happened at Bahrain drag strip on the last day for test and tune too bad we will not have any drag event until Sep

this is the track of one of the best formula one tracks in the world , it also has a drag strip.

Was stationed in Bahrain form 99-00. Hot was an understatment there.

I would think there would be more italian in a car meet down there, or atleast something over 100k.

there are a bunch of $100K+ cars there , but the fun lies in handing them their ass in a race with your 30K mullet machine!!!! :D

Guys i'm going to Bahrain next month in my friends 02 Camaro SS
So i was wondering how can i go inside the track take some pictures of it and go try it out in the track.
can any one who lives in Bahrain tell how ?

there will be a test and tune one week and two weeks bfore the championship starts, you can go then and try racing your car on the strip.

be warned, the track hooooooooooooks!

I was one of the judges of that show and it was tough to judge with all the clean cars that participated.

The entrance fee for is T&T 5 BD and for spectators 2BD you can take pix at the paddock of in the stands.

I had a blast when I was stationed in Bahrain for 7 months. I was a lance coconut in the Marines pulling almost 4 grand a month and I went home with a new laptop a broken xbox. Alcohol prices were a bitch at the clubs. I really loves how the GM dealers looked exactly the same as they do over here.

Yes alcohol prices are high and in clubs the prices are X 2 to X4 depending on the club class.
So you where before the drag strip at the formula 1 circuit.
