Default Gapping the Oil Control Rings?

Well I did a search and didn't find a complete answer, but do the oil control rings, the thin, flimsy ones, need to be gapped? I have heard that the gap on them does not really matter, as long as it's not too big. My rings came from Diamond gapped at .015 about. Is this enough for a 4.125" bore, or should I file them down a bit? I think they are thin enough to where I can just cut a little bit off the ends with a pair of dikes. Anyways, that's all, thanks!

i don't believe that you should worry about gapping the oil control rings. i would leave them alone.
