Default Od.....

how do i know if my OD is kicking in or not?

wih the true duals and headers insalled now. someone was riding with me and he mentioned it didnt sound like the OD was ever engaging as we was on the interstate.

now i know when driving normal at around 40 ish it will go to 4th gear and a few mph later the rpm will drop alittle lower.. is that OD kicking in or the stock tq converter?

4th gear is OD, the rpms ropping after that is your lock up clutch engaging. have you done anything to increase the line pressure? in doing so, it will make your lockup much more noticeable. also, what rpm do you turn @ 65 mph?

well just put the car in 3rd gear drive it down the highway and when you get up to speed shift into OD and see if the RPMs drop.
