info on f-body wheels

Default info on f-body wheels

i know this might sound stupid but i am an x-mustang guy that jumped the fence and know i am building a 540 ci bbc f-body. i need to know what the biggest rear tire can this car handle without mini-tubing. size rim also the backspacing for a stock length rearend (9 inch).

17x12 with 7.0 backspacing just did this to my car any bigger and itll poke or itll rub on the inner fender liner

thanks, how tall of a tire will fit and what is the biggest slick it will hold? i am planning on running convo pro wheels on the rear.

if you are wanting to run convo pros and large slicks you will need to narrow the rear.

for a 15x10 wheel you need 7.5 BS...the convo's only come in 5"bs

i am ordering the rearend on thursday...any idea how narrow the rearend needs to be? i do want to run convo pros....
