It's no wonder he had a heart attack. Enron was #7 on the Fortune 500 list, he was well-known in the top business and political circles (Enron was the single largest donor to GWB's presidential campaign). He went from that to over 100 Million in debt, facing the rest of his life in prison, and his wrong-doings were the top story on the 6 O'Clock news for over a year. I can only imagine the pressure and stress that would bring.

There are two things I find ironic about his death:
- It was rumored he was so afraid of death, and heart attacks in particular, that he gave portable defribillators (sp?) to members of his family as Christmas gifts one year.
- He died at his vacation home in Colorado. I scrimp and save to make payments on a 1300 square foot house in Pearland and he, with his "frozen assets" had a vacation home.

I haven't talked to my dad yet, but I'm sure he'll be at least a little upset. Dad actually liked Ken. He worked with him since the HNG days. Dad was a pilot @ ENE, so he flew the execs and their families around. Even to the home in Aspen for holidays.

It's ironic that a heart attack got him. I can imagine the last few hours of his life were pretty terrifying. Not that I feel bad for him or anything. I guess these things have a way of working themselves out.
