Max Block Cubes???
Hey guys I know the max a stock ls1 can be bored out is .30 over leaving you with a max of 383 cubes without resleeving. I was wondering what the ls6 iron block is at max, and what the ls2 is at max.

Actually, the 99' up LS1/6 blocks can only do a .010" over bore/hone. The 98's can only take about .005". A few people have been taking the LS2 block .030" over, but I think were still awaiting results to see how they do. All of the cubic inches you are seeing in the LS1/6 blocks are do to the longer stroke crank. Adding a 4" crank will give you a 383, adding a 4.125" stroke crank will give you a 396. That's about max on those blocks without sleeves. Since the LS2 has the bigger bore and can take a bit more over bore, You can get about 418 cubes, max without sleeves.
