Default Aftermarket Tach w/shift light?

Anyone here run an aftermarket tach w/ shift light? Are shift lights legal in all classes? My tach is off a little. Its rev limited to 6300 rpms and I hit the limit before the tach shows it should.

Just ordered. I made one out of paper and lined it up in the car. It should fit nicely and not be as obtrusive as the 5".

Yea the 5" can seem a little big in a street car...
