Default oil in inlet tube?

Im new to the supercharged world. I have a vortech aftercooled ls1. It seems like when I full throttle the engine I can smell oil burning. I loosened up the clamp that goes from the cooler to the inlet tube. When I pop the throttle I get oily smoke out of that hose. Bad compressor? I don't have any leaks externally. How does the check valve in the feed line work? Could it be where my oil is coming from? Any help will be appreciated.
