Default new hood

just an idea for a hood. how about a Z06 style hood for camaros? the ultra Z is close but the Z06s opening isnt as wide tall and the center isnt wide like the ultra Z. this would look tight.

the ZO6 scoop is on the front bumper right below the hood, so it really wouldn't be a hood....

I'd rather this one....
And it's actually functional.
The car runs 20-25 degrees cooler since adding it on.
Keeps the engine compartment a lot cooler.

Thanks.... Took me a while to build him up.
Named "MURPHY" for all it's been through.
I might try to post some pics up later in the week.
Just got it back on the road. Been down almost a year for Modifications.

Yes, it's a Wolfe 6 point.
Rear Bars go over the seat. Not into the Speaker panels.
I had Madman help out with the install.

Yeah but for a camaro they could just make the opening on a hood. and I like that it isnt raised real high.

To get back on topic...I like your thinking, but putting it on the hood would seem to make it a cross between the ultra z and the ss hood. Not too sure how that would flow with the lines of the front of the car. Just my .02 though.

Yeah,....you got it. "What Can Go Wrong WILL Go Wrong!"

During the Modifications & Upgrades the SS fought me every step
of the way. I took it on the '06 Hot Rod Power Tour with only 300
miles on the newly built Forged 347 with AFR 225s. Not to go into
Tuning Issues... I think we only had one evening without having to
wrench on something. Bent 2 Wheels and busted an Axle Bearing
in 1/2 along the way. Didn't find out about the axle bearing until
after I returned home from the trip. But hey,....We had a Blast.
And received a ton of Props on the car

I don't like the Ultra Z hood but I think your idea is good.

If it would be like the Harwood hood, but the cowl would be not quite so high, not quite as wide, and less square. Then had a little opening in the front like the C6 Z06 hood....
