Default Installing a Procharger(Degree of difficulty)

Seriously thinking about going the procharger route while my motor is down.

How hard is it to install the procharger on a f-body? I am looking at the d-1sc unit.

Also what other supporting mods or recomendations do you guys suggest?

I am looking to run around 10-12psi through a forged 347.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks.

I have installed both the STS kit and D1 kit I would have to say the D1 was twice as hard. Both cars were TAs and the duct work was probably the hardest. One other thing you might consider the guy with the D1 is having a little cooling problems during this hot weather.

I installed my D1 myself. I felt it was easy - but time consuming - because i was paranoid about making a mistake. I would strongly reccomend a 3" full exhaust, fmic, 8rib sdce setup, some 55lbs injectors, and entire new fuel system. keep in mind once you feel that 10# of boost you want, you'll eventually want to turn it up a bit - i did. And when you turn it up, you'll want to be able to have the efficiency of the i/c and fuel system to support the boost. Now im running 15-17psi. You may want to consider going with some aftermarket suspension parts. Hope this helps, i know it's alot.
