Default JPR Cam Tools imitation.

well i know everyone says to just buy a 1/4" rolled steel rod.. so i went today to home depot and they have a thin 1/4" and then they have a thick 1/4".. the thick one the guy said they use them for gates and such otherwise known as the locking bar.. and the thin one is about the thickness of a straw.. which one would be the one to buy??

It is 5/16 rolled steel and about the circumference of a straw. Got mine from Home Depot as well, they should have it.

later model motors may need one 5/16 and one 1/4 steel rod. Or is you get the wooden dowels, get both 5/16 and you may need to shave one down.

JPR = Joe Prince Racing
